Electrolysis
A way of removing individual hairs from the face and body. The electrolysis machine destroys the growth center of the hair. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle at the surface of the skin.
How many treatments will I need?
Since human factor influence hair growth, you will need to return for several visits. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area will vary from person to person. Most clients return once a week, or ever other week ,as necessary. But the unwanted hair will be gone forever once the series of treatments have been completed. Each treatment last 15 minutes to one hour.

Waxing
We offer complete facial and body waxing for both men and women. For Best Results: Hair must be a minimum of 1/4 inch long. Clients using Retin-A, Accutane, Differin, or any other medication that thins the skin must refrain from using these products for at least 6 full weeks before waxing can be considered. A minimum 24 hour wait period of sun exposure prior to and immediately following any waxing service is highly encouraged. Any type of sunbathing including tanning beds are damaging to the skin, and never recommended.
Does it hurt?
The first time it hurts more than any other time. If you wax regu-larly, you remove less hair each time. We suggest the client comes in on a regular basis, (every four weeks). By doing so this will also aide in diminished breakouts, over time.
Will the hair grow back thicker/stronger/darker?
If this were true, we would have the cure for baldness! When hair is shaved, it is cut off at the thick part of the hair, which is why you can feel stubble the next day. A properly waxed hair is removed from the root, and when the hair starts to grow back it is a new hair, very fine at the tip, so no stubble.
To help lessen the reactions
Shave first and wax 3 weeks later so the hair is a very even length and not too long. Use pumice gloves and liquid soap and a breakout lotion that night. Never use bar soap again. Wax every 4 weeks like clockwork and the reactions will be noticeably less each time.

For best results after waxing
Exfoliate 24 to 48 hrs. after waxing session to prevent the build up of dead skin cells,
(which can result in ingrown hairs).
Bikini waxing can produce a hive like appearance that may last 24 hrs. (though not likely).
Avoid scented lotions and perfumes, as well as all Alpha Hydroxy products for 48 hours.
Use a recommended product , such as Bump Solution to keep your skin looking smooth and supple.
No sunbathing for 24 hours
